Sanjiv Valsan is a photographer, sustainable travel journalist, experiential educator, conservation leader indigenous culture researcher and documentary filmmaker, with a diverse portfolio of work, skills and interests spanning over two decades of experience. He is based out of Mumbai and Northeast India, and specialises in longform storytelling in sustainability, social justice, art, culture, portraiture, human emotions and narrative photojournalism. He has worked with a spectrum of clients and organisations and founded Waghoba Habitat Foundation, a nonprofit organisation for eco-cultural work, habitat protection, welfare of indigenous, people and sharing Traditional Ecological Knowledge in Western and Northeast India, adding structure and scale to his already ongoing work in these areas.
